What fantastic news that UK celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott will be at this Sunday's Fresh Market in Warrnambool to film an episode of his new television show Ainsley's Market Menu. The show will air on SBS later this year and Warrnambool is one of six locations Ainsley is visiting to showcase foodie culture and amazing produce. While we're not sure what his plans are on the day or whether Piccolo Coffee Roasters might be lucky enough to slip into the footage, the visit is a huge boon for the region's producers. Anyone who attends the Warrnambool Fresh Market will see how much work is being done by private enterprise to collectively build the profile of the region's food and drink. We play a small part in that, so when things like this happen it's wonderful reward for the hard work that goes into building a local brand and developing a clientele who appreciates it. The show's publicity team said the episodes will broadcast in up to 130 countries worldwide - how good is that! So well done to everyone involved in securing this opportunity for Warrnambool and the wider region. See you on Sunday!
